APRIL 2026 UPDATE

Hello All,

     Spring is here! A quick update for RTR readers:

• Still planning on starting the Task Force Omega (TFO) POW-MIA podcast series this summer. The series was supposed to begin winter 2025/spring 2026, however there have been delays in the release of hardware and software needed to produce the series. As of today I hope to have the inaugural episode out by July. It will focus on a USAF F-4 WSO shot down in early 1968.
• Numerous additional Task Force Omega summaries have been added over the past few weeks. The latest four summaries can be found on the home page. A complete list of TFO summaries can be found here.
• Last summer I began volunteering with Flying Leathernecks Marine Corps Aviation Museum in prelude of the grand opening in the first quarter of 2027. Located at the former MCAS El Toro, now known as The Great Park, the museum will be a tribute to not only Marine Corps aviators, but also to the generations of leathernecks who served at El Toro, from WWII to the unfortunate closing in 1999 under President Bubba Clinton. Any donations to the museum, monetary or historical items, will be greatly appreciated. 
• I have received numerous inquires as to what my next writing project will be. Currently, I am in the very early stages of researching a book on the most notable Task Force Omega profiles. Hopefully I will be able to give additional details this summer.
