Hello All,
As some of you may be aware, there is a worldwide memory chip shortage. This severe shortage is the result of immense demand for AI, which at this point is no more than a glorified marketing term. Consequently, the new computer hardware I was planning to acquire to produce the Rolling Thunder Remembered podcast is not forecasted to be released until this October, at the earliest. As a contingency I may try to produce the first episodes of this podcast on my existing hardware, which at this point is 11 years old, and starting to show the strains of Moore’s Law. If this attempt is unsuccessful, I ask that you all have some patience while the computer chip shortage eases, and I am able to acquire the hardware I need.
If I am unable to start the podcast series on my existing hardware, then my backup plan is to start writing another book. While the specific subject matter is undetermined at this time, it will very likely have something to do with the contentious Southeast Asia POW/MIA issue. There are several MIA cases that have caught my attention, where newly discovered data contradicts the government’s long-held loss narrative.
Thank you all for your patience, and keep an eye out for the next update. Hopefully the news regarding the chip shortage will be better.
-Webmaster Dan
